During this workshop Tom will share with you tools, tips, and processes you can use when working with employees to promote a great employee experience. You will have the opportunity to learn or enhance your skills with hands on activities for one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans. All of these will be tied in with learning how to write SMART goals with your employees and not for them. We will discuss how to handle difficult conversations and turn them into a positive experience for both you and your employees. The focus is to help managers and leaders work with their employees to improve their performance, enhance their careers, and provide career growth so they can have a great employee experience.
This workshop will provide the audience with ideas on using templates for one-one-meetings, performance evaluations and performance improvement plans. We will focus on SMART goals and how to use them to provide effective and clear expectations.
The participants will have a better understanding of the difference between the tools described above and when and how to use them. They will also go home with ideas and tools to try in their environment.
