For the 2020-2021 academic year, Boston University implemented “Learn from Anywhere,” a model where students could attend classes either in person or remotely. This method of hybrid teaching presented new challenges for the support staff, but what we learned supporting faculty and students is helping to pave the way for how we’ll support staff in hybrid work environments in the future. In this session, you’ll learn how BU’s support teams adapted to support “Learn from Anywhere,” how they are applying this knowledge to better support all hybrid scenarios across the University, and thoughts on what the future may hold for remote teaching, working, and learning.
