Building a culture of continuous process improvement can be challenging, especially in a service organization. This session will present two types of foundational tools for building an improvement program: data-based tools and people-based tools. Data is important for understanding how a process is performing; people are vital because they have actual experience doing the work. Combining the two creates a powerful toolbox that can help any organization build a culture of continuous process improvement. Attendees will leave this session with a toolkit and templates for managing data, tips on ways to promote a culture of continuous improvement, and a strategy for securing leadership support for an improvement program.
