An experienced IT Director and automation expert with over 27 years of experience managing large-scale complex IT systems and programs providing business solutions to the Public and Private Sector. A skilled client partner for the public sector with over 27 years’ experience driving automation solutions. As Bizagi’s Industry Practice Leader and Director of Bizagi Government Services he is a recognized and sought-after expert in automation across industry sectors ranging from government, military, manufacturing, financial services and higher education. Prior to working at Bizagi, Mr. Jaehnig was the program director for multiple automation and IT improvement initiatives within the Department of Defense. His last being the 4th Estate Network Optimization combines 28 different DoD networks in 430 locations and on five continents into one enterprise serving over 500,000 endpoint devices and users with an annual budget of $1.2B. This complex project involved 230 corporate partners, three cloud providers, and 14 different government agencies, requiring complex coordination, program management, and leadership to execute a single service design with global ITSM and automation challenges. His vast experience in ITSM and automation across multiple sectors ranging from battlefields to industrial spaces to general office user, resulting in improved services and $76M in cost reductions to the enterprise in 2017 alone. His focus on IT service design and delivery have won the prestigious DoD CIO Technical Project of Year Award 2016, The BMC innovation of the Year Award 2016 and the GCN leadership award 2008. As a member of HDI, he has served as a facility member, founding member of the Government Forum, The HDI Desktop (formerly Field Technicians) Technical Review Committee, and The HDI International Standards Committee. He is also a member of itSMF, APMP and a charter member of of the Global Forum to Advance Cyber Resilience. He believes that the application of IT Service Management and Automation principles to the enterprise is a critical work force multiplier to increasing production, reducing costs, speeding delivery, and innovating in the future. Additionally, application of ITSM and its corresponding business intelligence is the key to applying resources to the right areas at the right time. He has a proven track record delivering this type of results. Mr. Jaehnig holds a master’s degree from the National War College in National Security Strategy with an emphasis in Cybersecurity and a bachelor’s degree in Government and Public Policy from George Mason University.
