Beth Barela is a seasoned consultant dedicated to transforming work groups into quality-driven, data-focused, high-availability teams. With a deep understanding that strong communication and ownership are pivotal to IT Operations team success, Beth specializes in both Organizational Development and technical skills acquisition. Her extensive experience spans across small to large IT Operations and Development teams, where she has led substantial growth and implemented quality processes across various support roles, from mainframe and server support to incident management and change management. With a track record of success, Beth has served at every level of data center migrations, culminating in roles such as VP of Hosting Infrastructure, where she was accountable to the Board for its success.
Certified in Emergenetics, EQi, and TESI instruments, Beth leverages her expertise to jump-start project/process teams and provide insights into individuals' thinking styles and behaviors. Currently, as a Thought Leader with the Service Made Simple team, she focuses on refining frameworks to ensure customers derive maximum value from their IT investments, particularly through ServiceNow. Beth's specialties as a Qualtec Quality Facilitator and Team Lead, along with her certifications in Emergenetics, EQi, and TESI, underscore her commitment to enhancing team dynamics and effectiveness, ultimately driving organizational success.
